Navid Alband was raised in Austin, Texas. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Texas in 1999 and his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2002. He then spent five years as a prosecutor in the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office — handling cases in County Courts 4, 6, and 10, the 372nd District Court, Criminal District Court 1, the 323rd Juvenile Court, and before the Tarrant County Grand Jury.
That background matters for record clearing: expunction and nondisclosure petitions are reviewed by the same DA offices Mr. Alband worked in. He knows what prosecutors look for, what draws objections, and how to draft a petition that doesn't. In more than two decades of practice he has tried over 100 cases to a jury and earned a reputation as a respected defense lawyer in North Texas, holding a 10.0 “Superb” rating on Avvo.
