Privacy Policy

Plain answers about the information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: what you share stays with the firm, is used to help you, and is never sold.

Who we are

This website, cleanrecordtexas.com (the “Site”), is operated by The Alband Law Firm (doing business as Clean Record Texas), the law practice of Navid Alband, 1130 South Henderson Street, Fort Worth, TX 76104. You can reach us at info@cleanrecordtexas.com or (817) 997-4366. This policy describes what information the Site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide to us

When you submit a form on this Site — a consultation request, the eligibility check, the quick-contact bar, or a resource download — we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, the county of an arrest, how a case ended, the type of charge involved, and anything you write in a message field. We understand this can include sensitive information about criminal history; we treat it as confidential and use it only as described in this policy.

Submitting a form does not create an attorney‑client relationship. Information submitted before a formal engagement is handled confidentially but is not protected by attorney‑client privilege.

Information collected automatically

Advertising attribution cookie. When you arrive at the Site, we set a first-party cookie (named crt_attr, lasting up to 90 days) that records how you found us — for example, campaign tags on the link you clicked (such as Google’s gclid or UTM parameters), the referring website, and the first page you visited. If you later submit a form, this information is attached to your inquiry so we can understand which of our advertising brought you to us. It contains no personal details about you.

Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our server records basic technical data about requests (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

Staff login cookie. If you are a member of our staff signing in to the administration area, a session cookie keeps you logged in. It is not set for ordinary visitors.

The Site does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising pixels. If we add measurement tools in the future (for example, Google advertising conversion tags), we will update this policy.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiry and conduct the free case review you requested; communicate with you about your matter by phone, email, or text message; send a confirmation when we receive your submission; operate, secure, and improve the Site; and measure which of our advertising is effective. By providing a phone number with your inquiry, you consent to our contacting you at that number about your inquiry, including by call or text; you may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP or telling us.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your information is shared only with: service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you (for example, our cloud hosting and email delivery provider, Amazon Web Services), who may process it only on our behalf; and others when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate and service your matter and to meet our legal and professional obligations. The Site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to inquiry data is limited to firm personnel, and our systems are backed up securely.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time at info@cleanrecordtexas.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete inquiry information we are not required to retain. You can clear or block our cookies through your browser settings; the Site works without them.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means the updated policy applies.

Effective date: August 26, 2026.
